Temporary
Staffing Terms of Agreement between the
candidate and Show Foundry Event Staffing
- Show
Foundry event staffing is in the
business of identifying temporary
part time work opportunities for
students and working individuals
in various events and promotions
for its various clients.
- Show
Foundry is an event staffing
opportunity provider and in no way
this should be taken as any
employment contract and under NO
circumstances may it be construed
as such.
- The
candidate will be informed in
advance should his / her services
be required by any of our clients.
The candidates will be paid on a
daily wage basis and all payments
will be made to them within 15
days of successful completion of
any work assignment. Please note
that all payments are made after
the total numbers of days are
successfully and satisfactorily
completed in any work assignment.
The candidate is hereby also
notified that any payments under
this contract be considered a
taxable income.
- Candidates
will not be eligible for any
payments if they back out in the
mid of any work assignment. The
eligibility of any candidate for
the payment will depend upon the
successful completion of work
assignment for all the number of
days. The time sheets for the same
should be duly filled and
authorized on a daily basis.
- The
candidates are expected to be of
good humor. Treat any and all
patrons of the Event with courtesy
and utilize good manners. Yelling,
threats, emotional displays and
profane language will be grounds
for the candidate’s immediate
dismissal.
- As
a temporary event staff, any
inappropriate behavior by the
candidates reflects badly on us
and in turn may lead to the loss
of a contract or venue. As this is
Show Foundry’s main source of
work, the candidates must endeavor
to represent Show Foundry to their
best ability.
- The
candidate shall perform work as
required by the Company either on
odd days or weekends or full time
and may be required to work
overtime.
- The
candidate shall, at all times
abide by the safety rules,
regulations and working conditions
of the client and maintain the
highest standard of
professionalism and workmanship in
accordance with Company Policy.
- The
candidate is not allowed to swap
shifts or jobs without office or
show foundry event staffing
approval. This includes the
changing of start and finishing
times.
- The
candidate is not permitted to
smoke, talk on personal mobiles,
SMS or chew gum/lollies during
their duty hours; these are
grounds for instant dismissal.
- The
candidate agrees to perform the
services as per the clients
requirements and terms and
conditions.
Should the candidate not perform
his / her duties as described in
each duty sheet and not meet the
requirements and standards of the
client, the Company may dismiss
the candidate with immediate
effect and the candidate will be
remunerated only for the hours
that he / she has worked as per
the satisfaction of the client.
- Start
and finishing times for a
promotion are not to be changed or
negotiated by the candidate with
the venue. The only changes that
can be made will be authorized by
the office. Some time clients may
request candidates to do alternate
promotions these will need to be
discussed with the office
- Candidates
are required to arrive at the
venue 30 mins prior to the
reporting time to ensure adequate
allowances are made for delays in
transportation.
- Upon
arrival the candidates must
contact the venue/duty manager and
ensure stock/kit and any other
instructions for the work.
- If
the candidates are running late to
any promotion or event and they
will not be there at the required
start time, they should contact
the venue to advise them. If they
are more than 15 mins late they
will need to contact the office as
well. Any time lost at the start
will need to be made up and
compensated as desired by the
venue / client.
- Any
photo or other information held or
attained by Show Foundry Event
Staffing are to remain the
property of Show Foundry Event
Staffing and can be used for
promotional activities by Show
Foundry Event Staffing.
Candidates who prove to be
reliable, punctual, outgoing,
honest, well presented and
hardworking will get regular work
and better work incentives and
bonuses. On the contrary all such
candidates who are found to be
irregular and under performers,
will be delisted from our roster.
- The
candidates are expected to always
set high standards and strive to
achieve the best results. It will
benefit their employment in the
long term
- The
candidates will always bring the
following or should clarify about
the food and beverage policy and
time breaks with show foundry
office prior to start of work.
- All
the candidates are hired on an
“at will” basis and can be
dismissed at any time at the
discretion of Show Foundry Event
Staffing.
- The
company "Show Foundry"
absolves itself of any loss or
damage to the individual directly
or indirectly while undertaking
any assignment. The candidates are
advised to measure all risks and
pros and cons while accepting any
part time work offers from our
clients.
- The
candidate agrees not to work or
approach any of our clients
directly for any type of part time
or full time work.
- Not
abiding by any of the terms above
will be the breach of the terms
between the company and the
candidate and the company will
have all the right to initiate
legal action against the candidate
for such breach, when ever it
arises.
